Hey
I have a big problem. My Direct FTP version 6.5 Build 4 will not upload to my website. When I test it on another side, there is no mistake.

UPLOAD SKIPPED. is the error message in the lower window.
Uses Windows Vista ....

New version Build 5 is the same.....

On my Lap-top no problem. I have tried to disconnect firewall - still the same...

I have the same here.
Version 6.5 build 5
It doesn't matter if it's a large or small file.
With every file directly the message "Skipped" appairs in the Transfer details colum.

It only seems to be uploading. Downloading, making and deletign dirs is possible.

And funny, I tried version 6.2 and this version works fine !
So I step back to 6.2

I have contacted Support and this worked for me :

Hi Hans,

Thanks for contacting us! This can happen because you have the "skip" option selected and a file with the same name is stored in your server, so the file in the server keeps the same, and your new file do not upload. To change that you can go to Edit > Preferences and then to FTP tab. Select
your server at the drop down menu and click "-" to erase it and then click ok, or if the server is not at the drop down list (you have -default-), just select "Ask User" and click ok. Finally try to upload the file again. A window will ask you about what you want to do with your file, you have to select "overwrite" if you want to see the changes in your server.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, just let us know.

Thanks,

Yep it was the "skip" option.
But strange because there was no file with the same name at the server.
So this option disables probably every(!) upload.

I knew it would be something like taht, but I wonder how this option is selected. Because, I had already uploaded files to the same server earlier....
