OK, what's the secret.. I get nothing but "Site not found. Make sure you are connected to the internet and your hostname is spelled correctly". I can assure you that both these things are correct. I can connect through my browser and another FTP program, no problem. I am running Norton 360 and thought that might be it so I disabled it.... to no avail. Pretty frustrating that even this simple little program won't run... why would this be so buggy? Man- I hate being slowed down by stupid stuff like this.

Anyone have any ideas... would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Could you be a bit more specific as to what you have done, it's hard to get any ideas without knowing that. As to User name and password, are they correct? You know you can check a box to unstar the password, so that you can see what you have entered.

And you say you disabled Norton, do you have any other firewalls running, like Windows Defender, Zone Alarm or such? Which OS are you running?

Sry... XP Pro, username & password are correct ... I think it must be Norton or something.... it works at work but not at home.... just frustrating.... other ftp programs work just fine at home, no connectivity problems... just some glitchy thing with this program I guess. I'll figure it out if I decide to spend the time on it.

Gotta tell the truth that I am beginning to believe this software is second or third tier.... lots of different problems with the different programs..... Editor 2008 started crashing last nite for no apparent reason.... guess that's fodder for yet another post.......

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
