hehe no worries, I just wanted to point it out so it wouldn't cause more confusion, we're already flogging Scott for his typo in the other thread lol :P

this worked for me!!! I just opened up the registry in Windows 7...navigated to the same area. Clicked FILE, IMPORT. Opened up the ftp program and all my profiles were there.

Here is the info I got before:

Your profiles are stored in the registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CoffeeCup Software\Internet\Profiles

(Start > Run > REGEDIT > Enter > Browse to that key > Left click on it to highlight it > Registry > Export > Save to a location)

You can export this registry key, then import it into the other Computer it should transfer your profiles.

Make sure that Direct FTP is closed when you do this.

That worked when I went to Vista. It did NOT work in Windows 7. I don't even suggest the average user try to find regedit in Window 7.

Good to know it worked for you. I will be moving to another computer and I'll give it another try then.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
