Activating New Purchase
Any ideas on why a newly purchased Direct FTP will not Activate?
I tried the normal way with email address and password and no joy.
Then the "Manual Activation" window pops up and it basically does nothing, I put a support ticket it sort of looks like a bot response .. it just says to try the manual activation.
So I try it again but I get the same error
"Sorry, we couldn't activate your software for the following reasons:
You are not entitled to any further activations for this product. To activate it on this computer, you must either deactivate another of your copies or purchase additional licenses from http://www.coffeecup.com."
Message .. not nice as I paid and have never used this program before.

Please update your support ticket if those instructions did not work. This way we can help you look into why it did not work.
Also you can only activate the software in 3 systems. Any more then that, and you will get that error.

I am having the same issue. Tried turning off my firewall, still just hangs. I never get the manual activation option. It is grayed out.
I have paid for the product and used it in the past. It has always been installed on one node only.

Just throwing this out there, but you are using both the e-mail address and password from your coffeecup account?

We are having some problems right now with the automated activation. If you use the manual activation, that will work.

Keep in mind guys that the automated registration system is really new for CC's programs and that DirectFTP is the first program to use this method so have some patience, I'm sure they'll get it all worked out
