WYSIWYG?? Unwanted line spaces.. -...

Hi,
I am currently experiencing a problem with unwanted spaces. Within Visual Site Designer, there is very little space between two text boxes, but when published, the gap is huge. There is also a large gap within the VSD "preview" page.
Anything I should check? I have searched the forums but could not find anything.

Also, how does one directly edit the html within VSD or do I have to get the HTML Editor product to do that?

Thanks in advance!

Steve

Things that should ALWAYS be included:

1. URL to your Website (THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ITEM) http://www.afrockhampton.com/aboutus.html
2. Operating system - Windows 7
3. Version of the application - Version 7 of VSD Build 24.
4. Trial or registered version - Registered
5. What specific steps have you taken to create this issue? - Seems to happen on multiple pages.
6. Does it occur every time? - No
7. Can you recreate the issue on another computer? - Have not tried.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Thanks for the fast response Eric... I read the article... From what I can see, I've used text boxes, so maybe there is some unwanted code in the source..
I'm going to delete the page and start again as sometimes it is quicker to do that than troubleshoot the problem. Maybe a coincidence, but the WYSIWYG issues started soon after I upgraded to a new 23" monitor...???
Either way, the problem is most likely PIC. (Problem in chair) :)

Thanks again,
Steve

It might be those hard turns at the end. Try not to hit the return key to force text down to the next line. Put every paragraph in it's own text box and change the size of the text box to force words down to the next line.:)

I had a similar problem that I solved by adjusting the space within the html code box (one stacked on top of another object box). I had 900 for vertical height in there. I adjusted it to 700 and it closed the gap.

This amateur says: WYS isn't really WYG. You still may have to tweak the code behind the scenes -
My 2 cents ; )

Yup, everyone will find what works best for them. I have a lot of code pasted into my site to help users that has more hard turns then the road to Hana.
