Windows Error when Uploading - Post...
Running VSD 6.0 Windows XP sp3
I was away for a while and didn't work on my site for 6 months. Last month I changed a page, uploaded and turned my site www.williamallendesigns.com into a blank page. Got frustrated and walked away for another month. Heh.
So now I'm trying to fix it. I have gone back, deleted the page, saved the site without any error notices, run a preview - everything works and when I try and upload I get an instant Windows error that 'has to close the program" and send Bill Gates a note on the problem. I also get this error when I open the (-v6) site from the beginning VSD pop-up asking "what do you want to do? Open a new site, an existing......" I have since told the program not to show me that pop up again.
I have 2 versions of my site I have tried to upload, one from July last year (that gets updated to -v6) and the one from Feburary, neither works.

HI William,
Try uninstalling and doing a registry clean with CC-cleaner, re-start the computer and then download a fresh copy of VSD from your download page and install. Hopefully that will fix your problem

I know you believe you understand what you think I said...but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not exactly what I meant.
William when you open your website are you opening by double clicking on the vnu file?

Seems to have worked! Thanks!
(always loved these forums because you folks help out so well!)
Now to finish the site!
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
