It's always better to re size your image with an image editor prior to bringing it into VSD to the actual size that you want it to appear on your site. This will insure faster page loading.

Yes I always resize them to how I want them to appear on my site so there's no distortion too, but I'm just adding images made in WIS, messing around to see what I can, and can't do.
So this explains why they are all random sizes, atm.
