Hi Yeto. Give this a try.:)
<script language="Javascript">
image1=new Image
image1.src="photo1.jpg"
image2=new Image
image2.src="photo2.jpg"
</script>

<a href="http://www.mywebsite.com/test.html"
onMouseOver="photo2.jpg.src"
onMouseOut="photo1.jpg.src" >
<img name="photo" src="photo1.jpg" alt="photo1" />
</a>
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I looked it over again and just noticed a part missing.
<a href="http://www.mywebsite.com/test.html"
onMouseOver="document.photo2.jpg.src"
onMouseOut="document.photo1.jpg.src" >
<img name="photo" src="photo1.jpg" alt="photo1" />
</a>

Hi Rolly. :)

I followed these instructions (thank you for the guide), and I think I have it working. I can't publish the site to test - as I don't have the ftp details yet, but in preview, clicking on the small image pops up the larger image into another tab. Would the larger image pop up in the image box once it's published?

And onto a different issue, but same site, they have some images which are one thumbnail clicking into a 'before/after' 2 photograph page. I guess I'd have to create pages for those?

And just one more thing, :D , not sure if I'm missing something obvious, but when I add image, the image adds to VSD according to whatever size I've made the box. I haven't found a way to size it to the actual image size, so current workaround is to go to the image properties & copy the size of the image into object properties. Do you know if there is an auto fill type so it resizes the image to it's actual size?

And would I be better with photo gallery, since this site has a messy image system atm. They have 3 pages of gallery photos (all different size thumbnails :rolleyes: ), and they all go to a larger image on another page. It's a mess. Trying to work out how to clean it all up, if I get to work with it that is!

Update: I have colorbox working now, thanks! I had cut & paste missing one little <. How much that matters! :D

If someone could still advise if you can paste your image in it's actual size, that would be great, thanks. :)

I'll DL a trial of photo gallery should I decide to try it that way, and also to check out webforms. I'm still playing around in VSD too much for those yet. :lol:

Thanks Rolly. I hope I can explain it better. :)

Say you have an image 200 x 200, but when you 'add image' to VSD you make the box any random size (it could be say 112 x 143), it adds the image at the size of the image box you dropped there - not it's true size.

I would like to know if we can resize it to it's true image size by some way of an immediate setting, or do I need to go to object properties to resize the image box so the image will retain it's original size?

I just have many images of all different sizes, so when adding to VSD, I now need to go to their location, look up their true size and adjust them through object properties so they are not distorted and out of shape.

Scrub that question too Rolly. :)

I worked it out. If you just tap 'add an image' on the page, without setting any size, you can then just locate your file and it pastes in true size.

I'm glad you got the image size thing figured out.:) It's always better to re size your image with an image editor prior to bringing it into VSD to the actual size that you want it to appear on your site. This will insure faster page loading.:cool:
