I have read and tried most all of the suggested fixes but my Browser Tab still says My Website. What can I do to fix it?

I am using v7 build 26. I have changed the title on every page but to no avail.....

Any suggestions?

Hiya Chuck,

That is located in the <title></title> location of your Head code. You can get there from the menu choose Edit and then Edit Header. Find the title section and change that to whatever you want it to be. :)

At the top of VSD click on "Page". Now in the properties box that opens on the right hand side enter the tab name you want in the top box where it says "Page Title:" Now hit save then publish.
If your still not getting the results you expected try restarting VSD and then select "Publish" "Re-Sync Website..." to see if that clears out the issue. Post back with the results.:)

Eric.....did that for all pages and it did not work.

Jo Ann....opening the edit header box shows an empty box. I put the following command in the box ....<title> Conus </title>.... but it still doesn't not work.

please go to http://www.george-conus.com and see if the name Conus shows in the tab....I have looked under Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome. All say My Website.....

Now have a new problem. I added a special to the surprise page and republished many times but the change has not picked up in the web transfer...

I certainly appreciate any help.

Sounds like your issues are an upload issue or resync issue if you did what Eric suggested as he's most likely got the more correct way to do it there. If that didn't work , and it didn't according to what I see as it still says My Website to me too, then it's not uploading your changes. Start there and see if there's something on your server not getting the upload, try doing a resync, and well I dunno what else as I don't use VSD so there may be other things to try...

Eric? :P

When did you last publish your site? Here's the date and time I see.

Now for a hilarious note......I made a small change and did a preview......preview comes out like it is supposed to so I re published and.....nothing has changed?????? May be time for Scott to look at this one?????

By the way I have been writing code since HTML 1.0 and have been using VSD for several years now.
my version is 7.0 build 26.
