Here is my question. I use VSD to create a web site, however, depening what browser you use, it comes out looking different. I personally use MS IE and it looks fine, but if one would to open the website using Firefox or Netscape Navigator, the text and graphics are somewhat misaligned. What gives?

You have run into a browser related issue that should be fairly easy to "fix" from VSD - may take some tweaking. That is very common no matter how you design your site or what software you use-different browsers may cause your page to look funny, there is a feature that allows you to test your site in different browsers to check for these types of problems (this is NOT Coffee Cup's fault, browser's do not always agree on how your page is to be viewed). There is no link to your site so, to the best of my knowledge,
It is always a good idea to test your site in several browsers and screen resolutions to see how it looks. I occasionally check on the latest stats in W3C to see what is going on and attempt to make my sites look reasonably well in those browsers and resolutions which are used by the highest percentage of web surfers.
Even for the most expert and well informed web designers, this is always an issue, even though things are gradually becoming more standardized, so don't worry....... it is not the CC software, as Jack so rightly points out....... but just the ongoing war between the browser giants!
