Does anyone know of any way to control the z-index of the various objects in VSD. I'd like to be able to control some of the overlays better, but it seems the z-index for the various objects is generated somewhat randomly. Thanks.

Click on the element then click on "Object" / "Arrange" "Send to Back".... etc.:)

Thanks for the response -

I've tried that but it does not seem to change the actual generated z-index. If I view the source code, the z-index remains the same. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong when publishing?

Are you trying to control code in HTML boxes or just shapes, images and text?

If you need absolute control over the z-index of text because it's place near html boxes that have html code or code that produces menus that drop down then you'll have to turn on the advanced text option for that section of text. Your right about the random placement. I think it has to do with when each element is added to the page. I use the advanced text if I need to in these situations.:)
