vsd wont load - Post ID 150257

I installed visual site designer, win7 hp laptop i5 cpu. After install, i go to the double click the icon it thinks for a bit, then nothing happens. I even went into the directory and double clicked the vsd application .exe file, still wont load.

Anyone got any suggestions on how to fix this?

Try this. Right click on the shortcut and click properties. Set it to run under xp service pack 2 and run as administrator.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Can't really say I'd call it a CC bug, as I have to do this with several other programs myself. I'd rather categorize it as a MS bug, of course, I categorize MS as a major BUG. :lol:

I just bought CC VSD as a part of a package. I am running Win7 on an unsupported ASUS board. This circumvention solved the problem. When I applied the circumvention, the quote "What hath God wrought" popped into my mind because I do not understand the implications of the change or the reason for the bug. The product should be able to start on the most current MS OS. Please get this bug fixed.

It isn't a bug. Just one of the many joys of a using Windows. If things were always easy, what fun would that be? :)
