I put my stream in an Iframe so I could embed a full-page theme in an existing page. Seemed to work just fine, but I can't put any text on the actual page (above or below the Iframe).

I'm re-doing my site, so only the index page is showing for the time being. Here's a link to the stream page:

There should be text names next to each page link icon, a line of text above the blog and more text in the footer area. Is there some way to make this work?

Looks to me that the height of the Iframe and the stream might not jive. Why not use the code from the stream to embed?

I had an embedded theme, but you can only have Disqus comments with a full-page theme. The problem with the full-page themes is that they don't have a link back to the home website. So, from within one's site, you click a blog/stream link and go to a page that looks totally different from the website, the home icon on that page doesn't take you back to the site, and there's no other link back to the site. Kind of confusing
I thought you had put a Stream in an Iframe? I know there was some talk on here about using Streams with Iframes, but I haven't found anything about text issues when setting it up that way.


Do you mean view source > copy code and paste with the HTML tool? Or get it from the customize > hardcore option then paste that in? If that's possible, that would be great

You can still get embed code for full page themes.

Has this been recently added? I asked about Stream updates some time ago, but never heard anything. Just assumed it was still the same deal; full page/no embed.

So are you saying there's now an option available to get the code just as with the embeddable themes? Or do I get the code from the live Stream?

Just tried to embed it using the Stream tool in VSD. It pulls in a different (embeddable) Stream from another one of my accounts, but not the full-page one. So I tried copying/pasting my full-page Stream code (get embed code) into VSD with the HTML tool. It shows up, but it covers up the background and the Disqus option doesn't load.
Guess I'm out of options for now

Since I had tried so many different things, the original Iframe code was no longer there. I just went and typed it back in – and it works just fine now, all the text is there. I must have had something weird in that Iframe the first time I put it on the page

Yup, you were missing a > after "mystream".

Such a relief! Now I need to get back to posting to the darn thing!
