VSD Question - Post ID 77057
I have created a slideshow using Coffee Cup Photo Gallery and placed it on my homepage using the flash button in VSD. I also checked the Optional box that says "play slideshow on startup" thinking that this would automatically start the slideshow when someone visited the site. But one still needs to manually start it when visiting the page.
I missing something or is there an option I'm missing that will automatically start the slideshow?

And one more thing - I see an option to "play audio on start up" but don't see anyway to add music...?
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance

William,
When you create an album look to the right of the album for the settings associated with the album. Down at the bottom you will see a folder in the background sound box. Click on that folder, and you may then browse to pick the sound file you want to play.

Hi William,
to your first post, you may have to reopen your project in Photo Gallery and check your settings again to make sure you have the correct settings selected, at the same time if you click on the "Albums" tab you should see where you would add your background music as BillR has stated. Just resave as the same project and VSD should note the changes and make adjustments automatically.

Thanks Guys, very much appreciate the responses!
RE: setting - I couldn't get the slideshow to start automatically period. So I deleted all previous versions on my computer and my host, then saved with a different name and uploaded. Voila! Now if I can just figure out why I get that pesky "you can add a caption here" bar at the top of the flash when it starts, I'll be in heaven.
Re:sound. gotcha. I see it/get it and would never have found it on my own. I'm waiting to hear back from a particular artist to see if he/his company minds if I play a song of his. Figured that was better than getting in trouble for using music from a TV show sound track
Thanks!

William,
Look at the album, click on the first slide. Now look at the caption. If you delete those words, it should disappear.

Thanks Bill!
Seems there's a learning curve even on something as simple as this. i'm giong to do a forum search to see if I can find some more answers, if not, I'll be back here

William,
Searching the forum is a great way to find LOTS of information. If I could just remember half of what I have read on the CoffeeCup site, I would be a real web expert.
One thing you might be careful about is the subject of your posts. This one is for a VSD question, but it is really about the Photo Gallery. That could make a difference if someone does not use VSD, but uses Photo Gallery on many different websites.
