Thanks Scott, I noticed this a while back and thought I had just published to the wrong folder. I've been playing around with some CSS with the help of Inger, and noticed all my html files in my VSD website files folder using the HTML editor.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Yes, I have copies of all HTML pages in my files subdirectory on the server side. They will not display anything that is non-text.

The html files do not appear in my files subdirectory on my local computer. This is true for 4 different sites I have.

??? I don't get it. If I look in my VSD Files folder, there aren't any html pages in it. Everything looks normal. As for the server, I use VSD's upload and let Yahoo figure out where it all goes  Could the html pages in the files (on the server) have something to do with back-up versions?

I have no HTML pages in the "files" folder, they are all outside the files folder where they are supposed to be. Yay! Finally a problem I don't have lol!!! :D

Paintbrush he is saying that rather than being placed in the "_website" folder, where they belong, VSD is putting the html files inside the "files" folder that is inside the "website" folder, which is a "no no" for VSD.

So as long as they remain separate within the home-computer's VSD files, all is well - and why the links to all the site files above? If the VSD files are OK, and the site displays OK, is there a problem with html pages (text only) being saved in the server side Files folder (the standard html pages are still in their usual place)?

This happened to me as well a little while back. Some of my html page files were duplicated and stored in my files folder. Corrected by deleting the extras, which really caused no issues, but were simply redundant. I'd recently added a sitemap using CC Sitemapper, but am not sure if this had anything to do with it.
