VSD: integration with other CC...

I'm not seeing anything yet on how well-integrated VSD is with various other CC applications (I have done some forum searching and FAQ browsing). Specifically, applications such as Web Font and Color Schemer: is there a seamless way to create special-font banners and design color schemes and have that work imported into your VSD project?

Thanks!

Well Spinny,
VSD works great with their other coffeecup programs, most of them can be installed using the flash tool (one that looks like a lightning bolt on it) all that's needed is to find the xml file the program needs and it will automatically install the nessesary files for that program. The others will be a more manual install such as Website Font and Firestarter, but once you do it, it easy as hec.
ADDED NOTE: you can click on the tab above "Our Software" find the program you wish to use or see how it functions, and on the right side will be links to their tutorials for that program.

Web Font can be used with VSD. You don't so much import color schemes into a site as apply them to your individual page elements, and this can be done in VSD as with any editor.

Thanks, things are coming clearer. The Flash Tool in VSD appears to be the ticket for most of what I was wondering. I'm still shaky on how Color Schemer integrates with VSD. Does it output a scheme file that can then be imported and used from within VSD to apply the scheme to the page elements?

I'm still compiling a list of what applications I'd want to purchase, but if all Color Schemer does is let you create and preview schemes, and you still have to re-create the same colors manually from within VSD I'm not so sure I'd be needing it.

Ah, well, I guess the reason for the last question is moot. I went ahead and ordered the whole package; the combined price was too good to pass up. If I don't like the schemer app I just don't have to use it. ;)

Hi,
check out the tutorial here to see if it's right for you.

In VSD you can use this to change the color of your chosen color and you'll get a better idea if it's right for you.
