Ok, so I want to add google analytics code to my site. Google says that it needs to be posted on each page that I want to be tracked. If I add the code through the VSD add code option do I need to go to each page and add the code or do I have to do it just once from the home page? Not sure.

That is actually a global setting. Once you add it there it will apply to all pages.
