orphanpress.com is properly assigned as an addon domain to my main domain.

Addon - This domain is currently being used as an Addon domain.
Un-assign the domain from your cPanel account.
Addon Directory: public_html/orphanpress
Addon Parent: The domain orphanpress.com is aliased to orphanpress.glassandchocolate.com

Also, VSD Ftp settings have / in front of public Copy/Paste /public_html/orphanpress

I FTP'd all files individually to the root of the subfolder and deleted all error files. The website seems to work now.

I still have some questions.

Why did it fail when I did it from Filezilla the first, second, and third time? Why did it fail when I did from VSD? Why all the error messages about the missing .xml files?

Should I delete the orphanpress.org_website that I uploaded from VSD? Or should I keep it for when I do the other transfer?

Have you ever messed around with WordPress?

I owe you and your dog some cookies.

I don't know. Why did it work the forth time.

Why did it fail when I did from VSD?

I think it might have something to do with you ftp settings or even antivirus or firewall.

Why all the error messages about the missing .xml files?

You must have moved or deleted orphanpressmenu.xml from it original location from when you added it to your site. VSD is looking for it here.
C:\Documents and Settings\...\OrphanPress\orphanpressmenu.xml

You can actually redirect all calls to the .org over to the .com on your Cpanel.

Hi.
It worked the fourth time because I physically grabbed the html files and dragged them over to the subfolder root file. That also means I can't update from VSD until I fix the missing xml problem.

Looking at windmill cookies right now. You can send a snail mail address to gblarson1 at gmail.

VSD should upload fine even with that file missing. I get this every now and then when I revamp a test site I have and delete files that I shouldn't have. I publish to Bluehost with a couple of sites and one of those has 2 sub sites.
To fix the xml file issue you can put the file back where VSD is looking for it or go to "Edit" "Remove files" then browse that directory and find the file and remove it.:)
