I was wondering why don't you *CC TEAM set utf-8 as default encoding in VSD? There is a loot non-english characters, and most web pages are made in utf-encoding!

Our developers do realize that this is a desirable feature, and are hoping to have this available in the near future, but we do not know if or when it will be available. We will notify our customers by email and in our forums to keep them up to date on every new update we release.
