Configure the shortcut to always run as administrator. Here's how:

1. Right-click the shortcut icon, and click Properties.
2. Click the Compatibility tab.
3. Here, put a check mark by Run This Program as an Administrator.
4. Next, put a check mark next to Run This Program in Compatibility Mode For: and ensure Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2 is selected.
5. Click OK.

If you use the CoffeeCup HTML Editor, there's built in publishing to your Sdrive.
For non-CC programs you can use CoffeeCup's Direct FTP to upload to your account.

I am having a similar issue as him except when I run the program as administrator in XP service pack 2 VSD doesn't come up at all. It sits there thinking for a couple seconds then never opens or displays an error or anything. This happened before but running in xp service pack 2 mode fixed it last time, but not this time. Can anyone help? All I did last night is turn off my computer. (I was using it last night), Then today I turn the computer back on and it starts doing it again (where nothing comes up.

Jeff,

I would suggest first try to reinstall VSD. If that does not help, then I would submit a support ticket.

Or read through this thread first and try the tips there to see if they help you.

I do believe your most eligible source for your issue is "service pack 2". Most of CC software needs service pack 3 to run correctly. Try updating if MS even allows you to at this point and see if that fixes your issue.
