Is there a way change document type to <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> I am not able to change it! And I am using VSD.

I have moved your question from the FAQs topic. Since it is a VSD question, I have placed it in the design software forum.
Do you have a specific reason for changing your doctype? Generally VSD works fine with the default.
You can change the Doctype in VSD, but the change is limited.
Open your VSD file.
Click on Settings at the top of the window.
click on Standard Settings for New Pages.
Down on the bottom right of that window you will see a box labeled advanced settings and a button labeled "Change DOCTYPE" that will let you select from two different doctypes.
