VSD "Define Custom Colors" - Post ID...
Hello people!
I'm using VSD to create my site http://moneyathomeguide.com/ & I'm having probs w/the "Define Custom Colors" button - it's grayed out so I can't ever save any colors I want. Do I need to purchase the Color Schemer software to make this feature work?
Thanks!

Hi Auntie Amelia,
I see what you mean, but what you could do is DL Color Schemer ( not buy it) to try it out and add the colors you wish using the hex numbers which will change the selected color above the arrow in your toolbar.

just choose a different square for each color

Sounds good! Thanks!

So there is no way to save more than one custom color on a website at once?
I'm using VSD so I don't have to work with code. It allows me to pick colors from my page, places it in "current color" which I can add to the first custom color box in the top row to the left. That is the only empty box it will let me save a custom color in. Very frustrating as if I'm going back and forth with elements and want to use a particular custom color again, I have to select and resave each time.

Kate, to save additional colors - click in the next empty box and then choose your color. That way, the new color will appear in the chosen box instead of replacing the color in the first one.
Now - if only VSD would save these instead of making us start over each time we open the VSD program!
