Windows 7, 4 GB Ram, plenty of HDD space, VSD 6.6.

Am using one of the templates however, VSD continues to crash. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times and cannot open my project any more. It worked in the beginning, crashing only once in a while but now I can't even open the project.

Where do I go from here? Can anybody help?

Forgot to add that am running as Admin, in compatibility mode xp, SP2, AVG Internet Security. VSD worked pretty good for a day or so. Tried starting new project and saving and then tried to open current project - nope it crashes as soon as I click any objects.

Sounds like you should be putting in a support ticket rather than a post here. I would think that support can probably help you better with this issue. I hope that they can at least, so good luck with it

With XP you may want to run with SP3. There are issues with SP2 with many programs. From what I've heard though there are no issues with W7, why are you not running VSD under that?
I had problems with using templates too in Vista. A page would save but then not want to open again. Try designing a page from blank and see what happens. You can always find a background on the internet.

I only tried compatibility mode when I started having problems. Yes, I can create a new project and even use the same template that is now giving me fits.
