I just upgraded to VSD 7, opened my first site and all the login credentials for my web host are missing. Is this a glitch, or is VSD 7 not designed to remember server credentials? It's no big deal either way, I just want to be sure it's working correctly...

It depends what version and build you came from. For the most part, they are preserved. If not, well I guess they weren't. You can re-add them through the Publish Menu > FTP Account Settings
