I've searched the forums and am not sure if there's a fix there among similar topics..

I highlight text to create a link. The link dialog box opens. I click on the circle to insert a web address. It saves the address but when I preview in the browser the link is not active. Moving the cursor over the underlined text is not active as a link.

Any suggestions ?

is the "use link box checked as well?

Yes, it was checked.

I had two text boxes overlapping. This caused the conflict. All fixed now.

Had the same problem, then I discovered the link won't hold on text that's been modified via the "allowed advanced text" feature. As soon as you uncheck the box, it works fine.
