VSD 6.0 link problems - Post ID 83290
I am trying to create a link to my CoffeeCup Shopping cart using either an absolute link or an explicit link
/shop/cart.php
http://www.sitename.com/shop/cart.php
If I use /shop/cart.php, VSD will crash when I try and open up the link properties dialogue
If I use http://www.sitename.com/shop/cart.php, I get an error when trying to save or upload that there is a file missing.
Any ideas where I'm going wrong?
Thanks in advance

Sorry, I found the problem.
I was forgetting the http:// in front of the link.

I'm having a similar problem. When I try to use the link tool it strips the http:// from the front if it's not followed by www.
Hi James
Make sure you are using Build 1. I am not able to replicate that issue.

The site I was trying to link doesn't have a www prefix and is a .org. The workaround is to add "www." to the front of the link. Hopefully it will get fixed but, for now the workaround will have to do.
Forgot to mention, I'm using Version 6.0, Build 1.
That would only make a difference if there is no DNS entry for that domain. Go over to http://www.dnsstuff.com/ and see if both of those domains resolve.

I am having a similar problem. I am getting an error that says the file is missing when I try to add a link to picasa on my site. I have done it many times before and am only now getting this error message since I've upgraded to version 6.0- I have tried the above mentioned fixes... when I copy the picasa link from picasa's website it doesn't add the "www", and when I try to fix it by adding it, it does not help at all.
I am stumped.

Hi Adam,
could you post the code so I can give it a shot?
are you using text or an iframe?
