VSD 6 Invalid picture warning - Post...

Hello All,
Been lurking (and learning) for a few weeks and I finally have a question I haven't seen answered here. I'm using VSD 6 (build 1), registered version. Just started a site today, so nothing has been uploaded yet. Anyway, when I went to save and close, a warning came up:
"The selected picture is not a valid picture"
This turned out to be a PNG file - a semi-transparent rectangle used for the page (so it's over the backround and will have text and images on it). Is this a glitch, or is it just a bad idea? :P

One other thing - If I want to update to build 3, do I need to uninstall version 6, build 1 first, or just download an update?
Thanks in advance - and here's a pic of my web page:

try updating to the latest version paintbrush, which is build 3...
let us know
it would be best to uninstall the older version first I think.

Paintbrush see this post!

you'll lose transparency when overlapping png's and gif's which I think is the norm.

Thanks for the quick reply! I did see that post, but wasn't sure what's going on in the examples - are they all issues with GIFs and PNGs? I'm not using any GIFs, but I do have one PNG on top of the "invalid picture" PNG. Everything looks fine in preview, but I don't want any rude surprises when it goes live on the internet! I'm going to update my VSD to build 3 and start over, see if that warning comes up again.

Can you post the individual images here so we can take a look at them?

I was going to upgrade my version of VSD before I did anything else, but the downloads area tells me I have the most recent version. So, how do I go from 6.0 build 1 to 6.0 build 3? In the meantime, here's a screenshot (just started the index page, so this is all there is. Thanks for your help!

The available download in http://www.coffeecup.com/help/myorders/ should be build 3, even if it's only only listed as build 1.

I need the actual image, not a screen shot of the preview please. You can download the latest version of VSD at www.coffeecup.com/help/myorders

So it's OK to hit the download button even though it says I already have the current version? I didn't want Coffee Cup to think I was stockpiling copies of VSD :) ! By the way, I took care of the Invalid Picture situation - just replaced the bottom PNG file with a JPEG version of it. No more warnings when I saved it.
Thanks everyone for your input, I'm looking forward to getting on with my site now.

Scott,

Sorry I missed your last post - got sidetracked and just got back to the computer to finish my last post. Anyway, by actual image, would that be the Photoshop file? I haven't uploaded anything yet, so there's nothing "live" to link to, just the files (saved for web) from Photoshop. Here's the PNG file that was causing the warning:
