After additional work and uploads, it appears that the only time I am having problems with the program crashing is during upload. This leads me to believe the problem is with the ftp upload portion of the program. I can generally restart the program after a crash, attempt the upload again, and after after one (or several) more attempts it uploads fine. I am running Win XP SP3, with all Microsoft updates current. I never had a problem with the previous version of VSD, only after the newer version.

Useless comment, perhaps, but it might trigger a flash of brilliance in someone - I am having exactly the same problem with Fusion 11 Upgrade 1. Did not happen before, Change in Windows XP sp3 or in the editors ????

Are you still using 5.9.4 or 6.0 Build 3?

No. I am running the latest version of 6 now.

What are you doing with the program crashes? Does it crash always the same way? What operating system are you running? Is the software installed under a limited user or administrator account?

I'm having the same problem with WIN XP/VSD6.xx but the application never gets to run at all - once I opt to open an existing website I get the "windows has encountered an error..." message and the program terminates.

I have found a way to start the application successfully,...if I opt to "create a new website" option on the opening panel the application will load and I can then load an existing website after cancelling the "new" website.

This has just started in the last day or two - prior to that I've had zero problems.

BTW, my first thought was to download a fresh copy of VSD and re-install/uninstall VSD. I was experiencing the same issue and at that time I tried opening the application with the "Create a new website" option.

So your issue has to do with double clicking on a .VNU and having it load VSD that way correct? You can then load VSD and go to the File > Open Website and it will open the saved Website without an error. Correct?

What version of VSD are you using (6.0 Build ##)
