Greetings

I have inserted a flash menu at http://www.koryu-uchinadi.us/contents/c … endar.html

The problem is that the submenu is layered behind the the text I added to the page. Any ideas on how can I resolve this?

Thank you
Tony

It looks like you used the html tool to add that menu's code before you added the text below it, so VSD gave the text's containing div a higher z-index than the menu's containing div.

Try deleting the menu (by deleting the html object containing it) and then reinsert the menu again with the html tool. Hopefully, it's containing div will now have a higher z-index than that of the div holding your text.

Changing the z-index of the inline styling within the object code's opening object tag itself won't have any affect.

Hi Cary

Thank you for your support. I tried what you suggested but it doesn't seem to work. Any other ideas?

Anthony have you tried opening VSD, click on your html box/menu and click on Object ( upper left corner) then arrange ( bring forward or bring to front)until it is postioned on top of the text? you'll have to do a preview after every couple tried til it is where you want it. just an idea to try. :|

I had that same problem with a site I was working on. Try right clicking on the html box and then click arrange and bring it to the front. Just make sure when you made the flash menu that you clicked the option to make the background transparent or it will cover over your text.
