Thanks Scott. I'll try deleting that php file on the server. See my most recent message above. I can totally delete the button (html) in VSD and upload and I STILL will get the 'bad boy' code on that page!

Can't find the php file on my server. What if, in VSD, I click on remove published website and then upload the site again?

It has to be there because that is the file used for the ftp syncing. You can try the remove option and see if that helps, but I think the issue is related to what I described in my last post.

If that doesn't work, call our office at 678-495-3480 and a schedule a phone support call with us.

Here is the VSD 6.0 page in the program

Note that there is no 'buy now' button opposite the word Flexshaft.

But when I upload to the server, here is what I get...go to

http://minicatracingusa.com/VelocityParts.html

Note there is now a Buy Now button opposite the word Flexshaft. Moreover, it contains the html for the wrong item!

If I view source on that page, the following should NOT be on that page at all! It is the bad boy...

<input type="hidden" name="business" value="payments@minicatracingusa.com">

<input type="hidden" name="item_name" value="Jollymotor Motor Support">

<input type="hidden" name="item_number" value="MCR-JMO-MS">

<input type="hidden" name="amount" value="6.00">

<input type="hidden" name="no_shipping" value="0">

<input type="hidden" name="no_note" value="1">

<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="USD">

<input type="hidden" name="lc" value="US">

<input type="hidden" name="bn" value="PP-ShopCartBF">

</form></div>

I think the issue is that the html box for that buy now button has gotten re-sized to a dimension that you cannot see. Try selecting multiple items with your mouse in that general area and see if something gets outlined. If you see something, try deleteing it .

It would be in the document root.

I GIVE UP! I want the old version back!

I totally deleted the page with the problem but it still uploads to the server! I created a totally different page. Changed the links, etc. etc. but the bad page will NOT go away and the new page is "Not Found". I have done UPLOAD and Resynch.

This was after I removed the published website completely.

VSD 6.0 has a serious problem.

I am pretty sure Jim you are doing something incorrect, but I am not sure what exactly that is. No one else has reported any issue like this. What you are describing I just don't see how it is technically possible. If you deleted the page from VSD, there is no way it can upload to your server.

Why don't you call our office tomorrow at 678-495-3480 and schedule a phone support call with one of our technicians.

I have completely removed the website using the Remove The Published Website in VSD. The site is still there even though VSD says it was removed. WTF!

I'll make the call.

You just talked with our support staff and apparently you deleted the path /public_html from the WWW folder so everything was uploading to the wrong path. This is why your Website was not appearing online. Now we have never changed this specific part of Visual Site Designer in over 3 years.

You mentioned to Orlando that you had lost your computer or had to format so this is a new install for you on this system. When you setup your FTP information you probably forgot to add this.

So you see, it was not a VSD issue after all ;)
