Visual Site Designer/HTML - Post ID...
One feature I'd like to see in VSD is the ability to export to HTML so the site can be opened in another application such as the HTML Editor. Alot of times it's easier to actually edit the code after the site is designed or while it's being designed. While the HTML tool is helpful, it also helps to see the code and edit it. It would also be helpful if an existing site designed in another APP could be imported into VSD.
Pete,
The VSD program does create HTML files. Those files are stored on your hard drive in a folder named something like "yourfilename_website". If you want to edit those files with HTML editor, you can certainly do that.
Please remember that any change you make in the HTML file is not know by the VSD .vnu file that VSD creates, and if you make additional changes with VSD, the edited changes from the HTML Editor will be lost.
