I have a link on the Information page to a forsale.html page. I have two problems.

1. The forsale.html page displays incorrectly... leaving out background images while the sale data is visible. I've redone it 3 times and it's the same every time. It previews correctly, but when uploaded it displays incorrectly.

#2 the four videos which I uploaded via FTP and put in the files folder will not play. The error message reads the filename.mpg cannot be found on this server.

Any ideas? Have a safe and happy 4th!

Re #1: It looks like the images have not been uploaded, at least not to the 'files' folder where they are expected.

Re #2: The videos seem to be in the folder 'files', not in the given path 'files/Download'. I tried the Sonny1.mpg, but it took such a long time to load that I gave up - and I have a fast internet connection.

Generally speaking, the url you gave to the information page took very long to open, and as far as I can see you have one large image; the sandy background with the five other pics embedded, and in addition you have tose 5 pics separately on top of that.
Ha en riktig god dag!

Hi Amy,

about #2

Inger is right here. The movies are in the files folder and not in the files/Download folder, and it takes ages to download them (about 10 minutes overhere...). That's because you uploaded them as *.mpg movie files, and mpg files can't be 'streaming' files. Streaming means that a movie is already playing if only the beginning of the movie has been downloaded. You should convert the mpg files to a streaming movie format first. There are several solutions for this, but for you the easiest option is to convert them to 'Flash' files with The Coffeecup Web Video Player, which you can download here: http://www.coffeecup.com/video-player/download. This software can be combined easily with VSD using it's 'Add Coffeecup Flash Application' tool.
