jc you are a star, just made the buttons slightly bigger and the shadow has gone. so there is no way around the mouseover situation ? It just looked so cool when I went over the button and it changed colour.

Thanks again.

Try mine did this in V7 the day it came out, i think it is what you are after doing :: http://www.william-kate-wedding-memorabilia.com/

I had the same issue :: if you look in signature at my other two websites i have an underline confirming what page you have open, that will cause same error if i use mouseover effect

The new copy and paste offset is a major PITA. I copy and paste for identical menus etc on all my pages. Needs to be adjustable or able to turn it off.

Hi Robert,

I haven't been brave enough to install the new version yet, so I'm not sure if this will work .... But rather than copy and paste the menu on each page I would suggest (if the option is still available) that when you create a new page you instead choose to duplicate a previous page without much stuff on it. (I usually keep a blank page for that purpose). I have my fingers crossed that that will NOT move the 10 x 10 that copy and paste does.

When I went to install V7, the first thing I got was a message asking me if I wanted to uninstall VSD and all it's components - no explanation, no indication that this was part of the upgrade process, so I checked "no". The install then went on and installed V7 and at first glance, everything seems to be working normally.

But after reading your message above, I went into "Add and Remove Programs" and it appears I have both versions living on my machine. What should I do? Use XP to remove the old version or re-install V7 and select "yes" when it asks to delete VSD?

I actually wondered the same thing about the uninstall. It should have had a better explanation of what it was doing. I checked yes assuming that it was going to remove the old version, but I agree it was confusing.

hi

Yes jc, thats exactly what I would like to happen - so how did you get around the issue ? Ive worked out the non-loading now, got the shadow sorted, but would love to get the mouse-over on each button.

thanks

It is HIGHLY recommend by us that you upgrade to version 7.0 as soon as possible. There are just loads of fixes and enhancements that are well beyond S-Drive support. When you open your website in version 7, we automatically create a backup of your website and zip it up for you, so rest assured your data is protected.

When you install this version it will automatically uninstall the previous version. I also HIGHLY recommend you do not have 6.06 and 7.0 installed at the same time. Doing so could cause many unforeseen problems.

This post is confussing. There is another post on here where someone asked if it was OK to have V6 and V7 installed on your computer and Scott says yes. But here he says no???

That is because that is true. It is HIGHLY recommend that you do not, but TECHNICALLY it is possible. ;)
