i created a site using VSD. when i made the page bigger to add more content it used part of the background image but it is not lined up. im a web and VSD newbie please help.

Thats because the background image is darker at the top. Try selecting scroll for the background. You should be able to choose with one of the settings either a fixed or scroll background.

i changed the setting on "page" button. checked top center for layout. it took away the doubling. now i just need to figure out what to put at bottom. may end up just using a solid color. im making this page for my brother in law and the page is still new. so it will be changing constantly. other than that did the site look ok? i have no idea what i am doing. so glad i found coffee cup vsd.

I would suggest going to settings then "Standard Settings For New Pages" and make sure the "center" box is checked ( on the lower left select the homepage) then apply changes to center all pages.
