when I make changes to my site and upload it seems to upload the entire site. Can I just upload the updates?

Your right in that it seems to upload your entire site, but it's compairing your project with whats on the server checking for changes. It only updates the content that has changed.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

OK thanks ... then I should expect it to take as long to update one page as it does for a full upload? For me that is about 45 minutes....

You should give S-Drive a try. I think you will like the speed using our service compared to traditional FTP uploading.

I use a Verizon setup with a wireless modem and a router...I live in the boonies and my only other choices are dial-up and satellite (tried satellite and dial-up is better!) my upload speed is slow, maybe 4 or 5 times faster than dial-up. The software I used previously would upload a simple update in seconds though. I will give S-Drive a try...

this is nuts...why should I have to sit and wait for 35 0r 40 minutes for my site to upload a simple link change? why does it have to process every image file and every page in my site? ...I have over 250 pics and a couple hundred pages. we may not use this software for long....

It is doing a file compare to see what has changed locally with what is on the server so it can send only the necessary files. This way your entire website is not always uploaded.

You need to do two things first:

1. Go to the Publish Menu > CoffeeCup S-Drive Settings and enter in your information.
2. Go to the Publish Menu > Choose a Publishing Destination and select your website.

After that, just click Publish and that is it! :)
