Another reason why I still use V6 often, is that V7 don't let you open TWO instances of the software, which is very handy to copy objects from one design to another. I have no idea why this isn't possible anymore... Maybe someone can tell me?

Wow this question sure took a big turn.
As far as upgrading to VSD 7.14, in my opinion it is much better than version 6. The sites upload so much smoother, the FTP settings are kept for each site automatically, and the new Buttonizer tool is a great addition. Sure there were a few bugs at first, but the latest version works great.
I have found that doing a copy/paste of sites from V6 to V7 with a rename of the file to clean out the junk from 6 is a good thing to minimize problems with the upgrade. You will have to relink all .pdf files though.
As far as the text resizing, I have found that if a whole page is copied/pasted the size of the page will grow. Keeping text to minimal lengths help eliminate this. Also do not cut the size of the text box to the exact length of the text, that is why contact becomes

One last thing about text, if you use a font that is not a normal font on other computers, it will default to a standard text font which may or may not change the size of the text.

The one feature i found (among dozens others) that made the upgrade worth it was the uploading.

VSD 7 now links/ties etc your web site to the correct hosting/directory so you dont overwrite a web site by mistake..... Great feature!

The other reason is that if you have a problem and need assistance, you should be on the latest version or it will make tracking down the problem harder by the support team or the user community.
