Hi,
I installed the web safe Oswald font from Google, however when I go to select it in Visual Site Designer it is not showing up. Can someone help me why a web safe font won't show up for selection in Visual Site Designer.

Visual Site Designer can only use fonts in a TTF format. If it is in any other format, VSD will not be able to use it.

The advanced text feature isn't going to let VSD read a font file type extension that 's not compatible with it.
It will how ever make the text look like the chosen font on all pc's whether it's installed locally or not.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

You could use this font to create what you want in a photo editor program. Save it as a .jpeg file then post to your site as a picture.
