Been a while since I visited these forums.
I noticed that in my account I had access to an upgrade of VSD, from 6.0 to 7.0, so I decided to download. In the beginning, it said "can't find uninstall," so clicked OK and it downloaded the software - separate from the old version.
I tried to run the new version, but I could only do it as an administrator (VIsta).
Have I done something wrong? Should I just delete the startup link to the old version, and use the new?
Sorry to be so clueless here. I was expecting it to simply overwrite the old version.

Version 6.0 is extremely old Jeff, so the new version cannot automatically upgrade that. You need to uninstall version 6 first and then install version 7.0.
Do not attempt to install version 7 without fully getting rid of 6 or your website could become corrupt. Most install.log errors can be fixed by reinstalling the original version and then uninstalling it.

Hi Scott,
Good to know that you are still around!
I did what you said. Somehow it all worked in the end.
I was happy with 6.0, except for browser compatability. Is 7.0 any better in this regard?
Also, I'm going to explore the Web Form Builder, and figured that I would be better off with a newer VSD as well.
