Two People working on the same site?...

I have multiple .vnu files on my computer that I have made for testing various things. Each file is named with a unique name. If I have a mysite.vnu and a yoursite.vnu, when I upload to those sites, the program will automatically upload the correct vnu file as a backup feature.

If I am working on yoursite.com, and wanted you to also work on that site, I would send you all the necessary files including the current yoursite.vnu. When you have made all the needed changes, you would then return those changed files to me.

My preferred method of doing this would be to setup a folder at yoursite.com and use a stand-alone ftp program to transfer the files. One advantage of setting up an FTP folder, is that only the changed files would need to be downloaded, changing (updating) the current active files on my computer. Now when I open VSD, and select yoursite.vnu, it is the vnu file that you most recently changed.

Does this description help?

I don't use VSD, but I can go to any computer, access my site through the hosting service and make changes via their drag-N-drop (wysiwyg) web editor and make changes. Even if they don't know anything about code, most hosting services provide some type of WYSIWYG page building editor. The client would just have to know how to access the site (login) and upload files to the server. Once the files are uploaded changes can be made by anyone who can acces the hosted site. At any rate, they wouldn't have to learn much more than they would need to be able to use VSD
