Twitter button - Post ID 207438
I'm trying to add a Tweet follow button to my website. I followed the steps in the CoffeCup help post "Adding a Tweet Button to Your Page." I did a preview and the words "Follow @ Caleb Ride" appeared. I tested the link and it work. Then I up loaded the page. It has a slick looking button with "Follow @ Caleb Ride" inside it, just what I wanted. Only the button is dead, with no link.
How can I resolve this issue?

Can you post a link to your site? Hard to tell what's going on without seeing it.

Hi Charles
A link would be great but I bet you need to adjust the position of the button because another element like a text box is over the top blocking the click-ability. You could try moving the button or click on "Object" then "Arrange" then "Bring to Front".

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Actually ya'll, he posted the link, just not as a link... http://chuckmcdaniel.com
What I see is this...the Twitter button on the contact page works.
But, your menu has a few problems. When I 'mouse over' Events or Contact the Capital Letter turns lower case. Don't think you meant to do that. You just need to adjust your text on the mouse over. There is also a problem with the About Chuck menu item. I get garbled graphics on a mouse over.
If you were talking about the Twitter Button on your home page not working, then I think Eric may have something. However, I took a look at the source and didn't see a 'link' so that may not be it.
Can you give us any more details?
BTW- I am an avid ebook reader and I like the thought of a Vampire Texas Ranger. I'll be following you soon!

Was that there last night? Went right past it
Anyway, on the 'connections' page, this paragraph's text box is overlapping the twitter button:
Make sure you don't have extra spaces in the text box – it's not the actual text overlapping, but the box itself. Then do what Eric suggested; move the twitter button to the front of the page and see if that works.
Let us know

Follow the Caleb Ride Chronicles on Twitter. Sometimes the Tweets are from Caleb, sometimes from Chuck. You never know.

The twitter button on the contact page is where the problem is and it's as suspected the text box above it is covering it a little. If you come up to the button from the bottom it works.
