Scott, I did as you suggested -- did a Save As, rebuilt the website, went to the server and deleted everything under the Files directory (I didn't delete the html files in the main directory), and republished, and the problem is still there.

Now what?

Also, didn't VSD used to have the ability to delete your website from within the Publish Settings area? I thought you could delete your website from within VSD, then republish, but can't find it anywhere in the current build. It seemed like a useful tool.

So I deleted all of the headers at the top of the page, and published the website. Then I went into my website directory on my computer, and deleted all of the header files that were still there. There were at least 5-6. I tried to go to the Server and delete them from there, but I didn't write down the names of the files, and using the CC Free FTP program, I can't view that image file to see which was which, so couldn't delete them from the server.

Then I went ahead and added one header back on the front page, and in preview mode, the double letter is still there.

I'm very frustrated with this issue.

Jamie - I don't have an answer for you, but did you clear your browser cache before viewing the new upload?

I have the Guru's looking at mine since it's doing the same thing. I'll post back when they figure out what I've done wrong this time.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I ended up making the headers Arial and not having them be image files. It looks fine now, but I'm still bummed that this issue is happening.

I'm working with the Guru's as we type to find out what the true cause of this is. The one thing that might fix it as it did for one of my occurrences was to turn advanced text off then save then publish. Now go back and turn advanced text on save and publish. Like I said this fixed one of mine :) but not the other.:(
