Good Evening All,

I have been using this program for quite a while and i have come across this and in the passed worked around it but im asking the question now and i have searched through the forums and googled it and didnt find anything that pertained to my question.

I have created graphics in photoshop with a transparent background but when i import the image into VSD they all get a white box created around them, i am creating them as .gif which allows transparency but again they always create a white box, which doesnt allow me to over lap with other images.

Is there something i am doing wrong or is this just down the software was designed.

Thank You

When you place transparent PNGs in VSD they will appear black in the transparent areas in the program, but the preview and web appearance is fine.

I'm not sure if the same sort of thing happens with gifs, but with white instead of black, or if the gifs stay white even in the preview and external browsers.

I use photoshop, and save for web option (just below the save as) and select png as file type.
