I've spent several hours trying to get an image into VSD that is transparent. ( It's an oval that looks like a necklace/chain with the background transparent.) The PNG file comes out black and the GIF comes out white. Any tips? I have Paint Shop Pro, PS elements, Fireworks.

After reading some of the previous posts re. this, I did a preview and the white somes out transparent. Weird, but I'll go with it and hope.

Marilyn, the PNG files only have the black backgrounds within VSD, in preview or on a live site, the black area is transparent.
