Themes and how to do a certain...

I sat at my desk trying to figure out this mouseover and really need some help on how it was done.

On the THEME called VENN, there are buttons on the left of the page that when you click on the little arrow button, it becomes the black paper torn looking button that has the links in them.

Can someone please post a tutorial on how that is done? It looks like the mouseovers could do so much, but I can't figure them out.

Thanks

If you have the template in question open in VSD and click on one of the buttons of the menu, you can click on the 'mouseover' button at the top of the page. Then in the dialogue box appearing you can alternate between 'Show original object' and 'Show mouseover object'. You will then see that the button consists of two small images placed on top of each other. It's easy to create mouseover effects in VSD, the app. does it all for you, you just have to provide the two images. :)

Nadine, what you describe there is a script for a 'thumbnail viewer'. You will find how to create them at http://www.dynamicdrive.com, look for 'thumbnail viewer'.

VSD is not able to do such 'multiple mouseovers'.

Yes, there is a 'html tool' with which you can insert code. Just follow the instructions, or yell if you get stuck! ;)

Hi Inger,
I wish it was colder here (So. CA), would be nice to have more boots and sweater days, don't get me started on summer! ugh!

I see you're an affliliate for CC, I want to buy the shopping cart software at some point soon, buy from your site then?

oh yes I see the html tool....but I am stuck and willing to pay for some kind of instruction. Can I contact you on your site and we can go in email? I can pay you via paypal for your time, better than back and forth in a chat, if that's kosher and all let me know.

I saw the code you directed me to and just need it idiot proofed more, like PUT URL HERE sort of thing, and I have a few questions. Let me know and stay warm!

PS ....I have sandals on.......:D

:( I have very little knowledge in html, and I am at a stand still on a site I am building. I have many CC programs and am currently trying to use thumbnail viewer (Dynamic Drive) for a few image I would like to pop up. Would someone be will to work with me through a few emails? I have tried many times using the Dynamic Drive instructions but have failed. I would greatly appreciate if someone here could help me,

Thanks,
Marc
