Text wrapping issue in VSD & FF

Having an issue with text wrapping when text is placed on top of a colored "object" that has been created in VSD. This is only when viewed in FF9. In IE9 everything looks great. Now this only happens when viewed on my 1600x900 screen and only in FF. When viewed on 1366x768, it looks fine in both FF and IE.

When I go to the FF web console, there is a whole list of issues that FF sees regarding the html but I unfortunately am nowhere near tech saavy enough to understand what the FF web tools see and what they mean.

Try putting each of the three paragraphs in the middle of your page in their own text box. Then look at any text box's and check to make sure your not hitting the return to force text to a new line.

The text is a mess on my computer because I don't have Franklin Gothic Demi Condensed. The text in Arial shows up fine (Firefox/Waterfox 9).

This might be an issue too:
1,024px × 108px (scaled to 785px × 253px)

The image doesn't fill the width of the page (like the header image). There's a gap between the page edge (left side) and the image's left edge. It's best to size your images in an image editor then place them in VSD.

I should have clarified. This wasn't really ready for primetime but I published it anyway as I wanted to test out S Drive.

The specific issue that I am relating to is regarding
White text in black object bar under company logo header that says
Sales Service Repairs Replacement Cells Parts & Accessories in FF "Replacement Cells" & Parts & Accessories is wrapped. They shouldn't be. Compare as in IE.
The two phone numbers in red that are in the "water" are also wrapped. They shouldn't be. Compare to IE.

Those are the issues I am relating to. The rest of the text I.E. the three paragraphs at bottom is not concern as that looks fine to me. Again this wasn't ready for primetime.

Paintbrush, no FGDC???? Who doesn't have that? I thought that was like a world standard.

PB,
Which object are you referring to being scaled?

PB,

I guess you are referring to the lower water background. I can see in VSD object properties that it is 785x253 but do you see 1024 x108? What tells you the original size?

From IE9 (looks the same in FF:

Poolman (Mr. Zappa  ) – right-click an image and choose view image properties to get the size/scale etc.

I do have 2 Franklin fonts, but not yours. So I can't tell if I'm seeing your text issue, or my substituted font issue. Could be either or both.

PB,

Yep that's Frank alright. Shave off the mustache and soul patch and it probably could've been me 20 years ago!

I see in FF where you got that info. Looks like IE doesn't give you that. I did not know that just sizing down in VSD was an issue. it didn't seem to create issues in my main hydrobluepools.com site. That was all done in VSD. I did just change the fonts from Arial on that site but i think I might change them back as the font looks thin.

I did use PixConverter for some image resizing of some product JPGs but it seemed to fuzzy up the quality as opposed to just resizing in VSD.

In regards to the original issue of the text wrapping in those couple areas, any other ideas? I am not sure what Rolly means about not using the return to force text to next line. If you are typing out a paragraph how would you not?
