TEXT TURNING TO LINKS - Post ID 179109

Hi - I'm pretty new to this software but am really enjoying getting a website going in VSD! Its really great for those of us with poor HTML!

But I keep getting text on my published pages turning themselves to links which lead to some website (I think someone's idea of 'marketing') - say the words 'Antique English' from a sentence change font and double underline and have become a link. I've disabled 'Userdate persistence' as someone online suggested in my IE Security settings, which works some of the time, but the same thing keeps happening some of the time. Can anyone tell me if there is a way thru VSD to 'protect' the text from this interference please? Even if I can sort it on my laptop what happens when the site is viewed by someone else with different IE settings, who gets all these links appearing (spoiling the look of my site)? Many thanks if you can help me! JT

Hiya John,

Have a link to the site? Helps people to be able to take a look at the code and the page to see just what is going on :)

I thought maybe John was on a free hosting plan since most foist ads on you in exchange for free space.

From the Vibrant Ad site:
Please fill out the registration form and a member of the Vibrant team will contact you. Please note that a website must deliver a minimum of 500,000 text rich page views a month in order to qualify for Vibrant In-Text Advertising.

Who are you hosted with, John?
