Hi all, i need some help please.

First, when creating text in VSD 7 it looks great in the program but when i view it in FF and IE the text gets broken up like cut off mid sentence like there is a line break after a random word. Even when i extend the text box beyond the text it comes out the same. I have also tried to bring the text item to the front of the layer order.
Please see http://www.saukvalleypredators.com/mascot.html the second sentence in the "TIE" text the second sentence should not be broken up to two lines.

Second, when saving project in VSD7, that has multiple pages and multiple changes all the time, every time i save the project it creates multiple versions of the same image in the final website folder. Any suggestions as to this increases the number of files that i need to upload.

I made your text box 180px wide and it looked correct. VSD only uploads the changed files but has to compare all of them on the server to those on your pc to see which ones have changed. To rid your site of duplicate files try saving it as a new name after you click on "save as".

Thanks Eric, I will use the "Save As" that seems to work perfect.

On the other issue of making the text box 180px, how was this accomplished? I went to object and selected "Allow Advanced Tools", and adjusted the text box to 180px but all it did was stretch the text and did not fix the issue.

Try deselecting the advanced text.

Still did not work and it's showing up on both ff and ie. Any suggestions? When the problem first originated i did not have the Advanced tab selected. When the suggestion of making the text box 180px I did not have the option to make the text box larger without selecting the Advanced Tab. Selecting the Advanced tab and adjusting the text box only stretched out the text.

Make sure the text box has a blue outline by clicking on it once. Then you should be able to remove the check mark from the "Allow advanced text" box in the object properties box on the right hand side of the design screen.
Another thing to try is putting a little more space between the two text box's.You could also put all your text in to one text box and select the text in the one large box that you want bigger and select a larger px in the object properties box. Text within the same text box can have a different formats.

I am trying to format text which I created with the Text Box key. I went to object properties to try to format it but the options are not active. What did I do wrong?

Double click the text box so it has a red border around it then the properties will become available.

I was running a VSD 7 but build 02. After extensive and may i add painstaking research to figure out the text problem. I know what it is. Thanks ERIC!!!!

I was running VSD 7 build 02, but decided to see if i needed to reinstall the program. Geesh what a rookie mistake. I installed VSD 7 build 19. This fixed EVERYTHING.

Please don't make my mistakes, make sure you have the most recent version before you spend hours you can't get back trying to fix a problem the Coffee Cup team has already fixed.

How do I get my text to curve like "Chuck Wagon"(on the horseshoe) in chuckwagonkennels.com. I think I see where its done in the Object Box but I can't get it to where I can put a number in it.
