Greetings fellow CC Forum Participants. I managed to make use of some of my old .swf files I had been using on the old site. Figured out how to use the VSD to add swf files to the site. I uploaded the .swf files to the same level of the server that the index and other pg files are on (not the files folder). Opened the old site pg file with notepad and copied the code for the link to the .swf file and used the add html snippet function to paste it on the pg where I wanted it. Its on my Commercial pg. The 3 links are to the .swf files.
I like using the swf files because there are about 80 images in the 3 files so instead of having 80 files to upload and keep track of I have just the 3 My old site had about 21 pgs or effective pgs and about 500 images and the whole site was about less than 50 files to upload and keep track of. I can put some alternate text to give a little description of the slide shows for the bots to read.

I am looking at my site at my friends house on his computer and he has an old slow computer but it is on a cable internet connection like 1 meg a second speed and it can load the swf files faster than i can click them. I am going to have to get myself one of these connections This makes my 3g wifi seem the more turtle-ish very very turtle-ish.

would be cool if we can add swf files without pasting the code on VSD
like INSERT SWF

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
