Revising your installation of VSD to the most recent release has no impact on your existing sites. These files are stored on your machine where they were saved by you, so like Gunsmoke and Prism advise, back them up - you should do this routinely anyway, we are talking about Windows after all!!!

I think you should install the most recent release of VSD regardless, as this is the very best starting point when it comes to figuring out problems. If you're running an older version of the software, you are wide open to all kinds of issues and most of us will trial your experiences or seek solutions using the most recent version of VSD so it's best all round if you too have the current release.

Uninstalling, reinstalling or generally altering the software has no impact on your saved projects/sites as these are saved by you in folders of your choice and the install/uninstall routine has no impact on this file structure. So, have no fear :)

By all means, dump your saved sites onto a usb stick or an external hard drive if it makes you feel better, but in terms of the latest release, you can always open and edit any previously created site, no problem.

Dave :)

Thanks so much guys. I've been so darn busy i still have not had the chance to do this yet, but at least I feel that there is some sort of hope in straightening the problem out. I sincerely appreciate your help. Thanks again.:|
