Stupid Question-- BUT ....
I'm trying to open an index.html -- created by VSD -- and it will not allow me to open -- I can open it in the html editor, but I've not figured out how to go from one program to the other.. It's probably a simple thing... BUT -- any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks
Sandy,
Can you explain what exactly your trying to do please?

Hi.. .Thanks for the response. I'm at my office computer and originally did the webpage at home on my laptop. When I saved it, I saved my page as "index.html".
Now, it will not open in The Visual Designer.. or ... "will" it.. and I just haven't figure it out yet as to how.
Thanks

Visual Site Designer saves and opens .vnu files, which are the equivalent of website 'projects'. It also writes the actual HTML files that represent your website, into another folder.
I tried to duplicate what you did, and it created an index-v6.vnu file and a folder that contains a file called index.html, along with other supporting files that are subsequently uploaded to your server to comprise the actual website.
Try looking for a .vnu file and see if VSD will open it.

I'll give that a shot.. thanks a heap.
